Jalyn Grace Poynter
Jalyn Grace Poynter, a nursing major with a Spanish minor, is from Beaver Dam, Kentucky. At Lee, she is a teacher’s assistant at the Early Learning Center, an episode host for Imago Dei, a member of the Evangelistic Singers, and a member of Phi Eta Sigma. Jalyn has also been a Presidential Scholar, an Honors Scholar, and a Dr. Scholl Scholar. She came to Lee after attending a Winterfest conference and Summer Honors. Her favorite parts of Lee have been hands-on experience in her major, her Global Perspectives trip to Colombia, and developing her faith. Jalyn plans to become a registered nurse in the orthopedic or pediatric setting, earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice, and maybe teach or get involved in a mission’s organization for travel nursing.
