In the Department of Vocal Music, a comprehensive education offers you the ability to develop musical knowledge and skills in preparation for diverse opportunities such as church music ministry, teaching choral and general music in public or private schools, vocal performance, private instruction, music business, and/or further studies at the graduate level.
Undergirded by a strong general education foundation, you will be challenged to grow creatively and academically through private studio and classroom instruction, ensembles, seminars, and workshops. While a diversity of musical styles is celebrated, caring faculty members encourage and model artistic excellence and integrity throughout all vocal expression as a means to bring glory to the Creator.
