    Brad Moffett joined the Department of Vocal Music in the fall of 2006 as an assistant professor of music. He returned to Lee after graduating in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in music.

    Moffett went on to receive his master’s degree in sacred music and choral conducting from Georgia State University and his doctorate in worship studies from the Institute for Worship Studies in Orange Park, Fla.

    Moffett began teaching part-time in the Lee University School of Music in 2003, and has also served the Mount Paran North Church of God in Marietta, Ga. as the Director of Music and Fine Arts.

    Moffett is the author of “The Great Fifty Days: A Devotional from Easter to Pentecost” and was a contributor to “The Ultimate Idea Book for Music Ministry.” He was a nominee for the Church of God Outstanding Minister of Music and was honored in the National Religious Week Association Top 15 Ministers of Music.

    He currently serves as a member of the Church of God International Division of Discipleship Ministries Board of Directors, and has served on the Church of God North Georgia State Music Committee and the Church of God National Music Advisory Committee. He has been the worship leader at Church of God State and International meetings such as prayer conferences, camp meetings, general assemblies and Promise Keepers events. He has been a regular guest speaker at Music Explosion, Music Explosion West, Music California and The Ultimate Idea Book for Music Ministry Seminars. He has taught at worship seminars at local churches and regional church gatherings in the United States, Russia and Romania.

    In 2006, Moffett received a Dove Award nomination for the Spiritsound music recording “He Is Great.”

    Since joining the Lee faculty, Moffett has conducted over 300 concerts around the United States, Russia, Poland, Germany, France and Romania. He has also produced four recordings with the Lee University Singers.

    In the spring of 2012, Moffett was awarded tenure and promoted to associate professor at the end of the same semester. Moffett is married to Melissa.
