Worship Event to Take Place April 20-21

Lee University will host “The Retreat,” sponsored by the Fisher/Brewer Worship Institute, Prism Music, and Lee University, April 20-21, in the Conn Center on Lee’s campus, offering two opportunities for the community to join in worship.

On Thursday, April 20 at 7 p.m., the community is invited to join for the “Evening of Worship.” The performance will feature Lee University Symphonic Band, Lee Singers, Evangelistic Singers, Campus Choir, Voices of Lee, and Lee’s Chapel Band, who will combine forces for a worship finale. A faculty ensemble featuring Jose Ruiz, Randy Sheeks, Nathan Warner, and Alan Wyatt will also perform.

Lee University President Dr. Paul Conn will deliver a keynote address during the Thursday event.

On Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m., guests are invited to join the conference again for the premiere and live recording of “Spirit Move,” arranged and orchestrated by Lee alum Bradley Knight. The performance will feature the Lee University Symphony Orchestra and Festival Choir.

These events are non-ticketed and open to the public.

“The Retreat” is a two-day worship event made possible by the Fisher/Brewer Worship Institute for worship pastors and their staff.
