Voices of Lee to Perform “A Cappella Christmas” Dec. 11

Lee University's highly acclaimed A Cappella ensemble Voices of Lee will present its Sounds of Christmas concert, “A Cappella Christmas,” featuring both sacred and secular Christmas selections, on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. in Pangle Hall.

“This is our gift to a great community,” said Danny Murray, director of Voices of Lee. “we hope you will enjoy these sounds of the season.

Voices of Lee was founded in 1994 and later propelled into the spotlight on the debut season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off.” They have performed at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and Ely Cathedral in England, have been featured performers for Christmas at the White House, and appeared on the 2016 CMA Christmas Celebration TV special. In 2014 they were featured performers in the Shang Hai International Music Festival.

This past spring, they appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York City and most recently performed for Wacker Corporation in Munich, Germany.

The group’s 2018 Christmas tour will range from Texas to North Carolina, with performances scheduled from Nov.27-Dec. 23. They will make an appearance on Broadway at the Beacon Theatre on Dec. 6
