Cash Delivers Summer Commencement Address Share Tweet Email LinkedIn 07/30/19 Top News Graduation University Wide All Inclusive Cash addresses graduates at Saturday's Commencement.Dr. Linda Cash, director of Bradley County Schools, delivered the summer commencement address to Lee University graduates, their friends and families, and others from the Lee community. One hundred sixty-four students received degrees during the Saturday commencement ceremony.In her address, Cash challenged graduates to keep learning to apply the skills they have obtained, to listen, to serve others, to grumble less and do more, to be brave, and to remember that God has plans for them.Prior to becoming the director of Bradley County Schools in 2015, Cash served as assistant director of schools for Robertson County Schools and assistant dean of graduate education for Union University. She has also served as principal, assistant principal, and classroom teacher. Cash holds a Doctor of Education in leadership and professional practice from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master of Science in supervision and administration from Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education from Lander University.Saturday's ceremony was preceded by a pinning for School of Nursing graduates, a hooding for students earning master's degrees, and a commissioning service on Friday night, which featured five student speakers sharing their “Lee experience.”To view the graduation events in full, visit LeeU Video.
