Study.com Ranks Lee Online Among Nation’s Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs

Lee University’s online bachelor degree program was recently ranked #23 in the nation by Study.com, an online distance educational website.

According to Study.com, all universities on the list are regionally or nationally accredited and provide online programs that “stand out” from the rest in terms of offered programs, student resources, and financial aid, as well as providing high quality, affordable, and accessible online bachelor's degree programs.

According to Study.com, “Any of the online bachelor's degree programs found on this list would be an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a flexible option to continue with their education.”

Lee University has been offering online classes since 1999, with the first bachelor's degree programs beginning in late 2000s. According to Dr. Josh Black, executive director for Lee’s Division of Adult Learning, the university strives to make its programs as affordable as possible by giving discounts to those enrolled in a theological program, as well as to those who serve or have served in the military or are currently employed as a first responder.

“Lee University is a special place that has an unmatched campus experience,” said Black. “The Lee University Online faculty and staff work to facilitate a world-class online experience for our hundreds of Lee students that are studying around the world. Working professional students from Seattle, Tampa, and Nairobi can all study and attend chapel virtually as they pursue their degree from their homes during their busy lives.”

“We evaluated hundreds of online bachelor's degree programs for this list and selected Lee University based on academic and career resources for online bachelor's students, the quality of education, faculty, and more,” said Kathryn Jorawsky, content strategist with Study.com.

Study.com's online degree rankings emphasize accessibility, affordability, and quality of education, which they consider the most important attributes in school rankings. Study.com helps over 30 million students and teachers improve their educational journey. Study.com’s belief is that everyone has the right to an affordable, quality education.
