All performances will take place in the Buzz Oates Theatre, located in the Communication Arts Building, at 7:30 p.m.“Brilliant Traces” is the story of an unlikely meeting between two characters, Henry Harry and Rosannah. Henry lives in the middle-of-nowhere and never sees another soul, and he likes it that way. One night, during a nasty blizzard, his door bursts open and Rosannah collapses on the floor of his rustic cabin wearing her wedding dress. After being forced together by the raging storm, these two characters confront their bitter views on life, society, and their pasts. Through each other’s lives, they search to find comfort, understanding, and compassion for their own. “Getting to direct ‘Brilliant Traces’ has been a rewarding and exciting experience,” said Madelaine Burgess, senior theatre major and director of the play. “Working with the actors, designers, and production team to help make this show come together has been an honor. I am very excited for audiences to see this beautiful and profound play.”Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors and are available at the box office in the Communication Arts Building Monday-Friday, 3-6 p.m., and one hour before curtain time.
