Terrell Crowned Miss Parade of Favorites Share Tweet Email LinkedIn 11/20/19 Top News University Wide All Inclusive Life @ Lee Students Blaire Terrell named Miss POF 2019Blaire Terrell, a junior health science major, was named Lee University’s Miss Parade of Favorites 2019 on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the annual student-led talent showcase.Terrell represented Delta Zeta Tau and was escorted by Austin Guard.First runner up was awarded to Abigail Barnett who was escorted by Chae Burgess. Barnett represented Sigma Nu Sigma and won the Service and Talent Award. Jaclyn Sterns, escorted by Chmira Gilliam, was second runner up and received the Miss Congeniality Award and the Interview Award. Sterns represented Omega Alpha Phi. Third runner up was Geneva Freeman, representing Sigma Alpha Omega. Freeman was escorted by Peyton Clark. Representing Lee’s Student Leadership Council, Cassidy Philley was fourth runner up and was escorted by Ethan Coombe. Chmira Gilliam was the recipient of the Escort Award. Mikenna Varvel, who represented Tau Kappa Omega, won the Kay McDaniel Woman of Achievement Award, given to the contestant who has overcome life’s obstacles. Randyl Music directed Parade of Favorites, and this year’s theme was “Flourish”. Each year, various campus clubs and organizations select representatives to compete on the club's behalf.
