Lee Day Live to Begin Friday

Beginning this Friday, April 17, at 6 p.m., Lee University will host Lee Day Live, a 24-hour opportunity for prospective students and their families to “virtually” participate in different events in order to discover more about Lee.

“Though we will miss having all our guests on campus this Lee Day, we look forward to interacting with more than a thousand students and parents through our online platforms, allowing them to experience what makes Lee so special,” said Phil Cook, vice president for enrollment.

Lee Day Live participants will have the opportunity to tour the campus, explore majors and academic programs, learn more about student clubs and ensembles, have coffee with Lee President Paul Conn, discover financial aid opportunities, meet “live” with faculty and staff (through Zoom), choose classes for fall semester, engage with other students, and qualify for one of eight scholarships and hundreds of Amazon gift cards.

According to Cook, participants will be able to earn points throughout the weekend by taking part in the online activities. “There’s even a Leaderboard where students can view their progress.”

The event will conclude with a live finale on Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m., where scholarship winners will be announced and must be “present” online to win.

Content will remain available for viewing following the weekend.
