    Classical Guitar Instructor

    Kamran Alan Shikoh began his musical journey in the first class of The McCallie School classical guitar program in Chattanooga, Tenn. under the direction of Charles Evans. There, he was selected as a performer on NPR's From The Top radio program, "the preeminent showcase for America's best young musicians".

    Shikoh continued his studies with Dr. Mario Abril at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he was a winner of the Authors and Artists Club Scholarship, as well as the school's Concerto Competition. His past teachers also include Stephen Robinson and William Yelverton.

    In addition, he has performed in the masterclasses of several acclaimed artists, including Roland Dyens, Eliot Fisk, and Oscar Gighlia. Alan holds a Master of Arts degree in classical guitar performance from Middle Tennessee State University, and currently serves on the adjunct faculty at Lee University and Covenant College.
