    Kathleen Rose, MSN, RN

    Assistant Professor of Nursing

    Prior to coming to Lee University School of Nursing, Ms. Rose served as Associate Professor of the Chattanooga State Community College Nursing Program for 20 years, teaching medical-surgical nursing, ICU and management. Before this she served as Coordinator for the LPN to RN Transition summer program and Paramedic to RN Transition summer program at Chattanooga State. From 2013 to present, she has been an online instructor for East Tennessee State University teaching Leadership capstone courses each semester. Ms. Rose received the Innovations Award for the Tennessee Board of Regents in 2008 and the CHSCC Faculty Excellence Award in 2005. She has made many presentations and written numerous articles that have been published. Ms. Rose plays an active role in community service with the YMCA Youth Community Action Program, Health Science Academy, and Memorial Hospital Community Wellness Advisory Committee. Ms. Rose received the MSN from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the BSN from Ball State University.
