    Dr. Campbell is Dean and professor of the new Lee University School of Nursing. She earned her doctorate at Indiana University and master’s degree at Illinois State University.

    Campbell comes to Lee from the University of South Carolina Aiken where she was professor of nursing and Dean of the School of Nursing. Prior to that, she was the principle investigator for the Teaching Nursing Home project with Illinois State University-Mennonite College of Nursing. She also served there as interim dean, associate dean, interim director of undergraduate program and coordinator for student development.

    Dr. Campbell has been successful in the area of grants; receiving $2,070,787 as Principal or Co-Investigator. She has over 20 publications with much of her research focusing on care of older adults. She also developed a conceptual model of “Attractiveness” that pertains to quality of care and outcomes in patients. As a friend-raiser she brought over $707,595 in funding over three years to two different Schools of Nursing.
