    Kari Jobe - February 2015 @LeeUChurch Series

Lee University’s U-Church offers a diverse series of concerts each semester, providing students the opportunity to worship together in a unique chapel format. This year’s line-up has included: Desperation Band, Ballet Magnificat!, City Harmonic, Royal Tailor featuring Capital Kings, Kari Jobe and Jon Foreman. The U-Church series also includes a student-led worship experience each semester called “An Evening of Worship.” This time of corporate worship and communion has quickly become an on-campus favorite with such themes as “All Things New,” “Personal Revival,” and “Living a Life of Service.”

The final U-Church of the semester features singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jon Foreman on April 19. Best known for being the main songwriter, co-founder, and front man of the alternative rock band Switchfoot, Foreman has worked with numerous other artists on projects and has four independent recordings of his own. In November 2014, Foreman announced four additional independent recordings to be released this year. Over the years, Foreman has become known for his honest lyrics, highly prolific song-writing, and his involvement in various humanitarian endeavors.

U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event for students, alumni and the community. Seating is first- come, first-served.

Childcare is available for all who attend. Please contact Christie Wyatt at cwyatt@leeuniversity.edu for more information.
