Drs. Jeneva Moseley and Laura Singletary, assistant professors of mathematics at Lee University, recently presented research at the Joint Meeting of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education and the North American Chapter of the Psychology of Mathematics Education.
The Lady Flames, Lee University's elite women's soccer team, will host a benefit game on Sept. 12 to raise funds for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, whose local care center, Hatch’s House of Hope, provides children and their families with the tools needed to cope and thrive at the onset of pediatric cancer.
Dr. Dewayne Thompson, professor and chair of the Department of Business at Lee University, was elected Secretary to the Board of Directors for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs the accrediting association for business programs. The appointment took place at the annual conference this summer.
Dr. William Woolfitt, assistant professor of English at Lee University, has won the Appalachian Heritage Plattner Award in Fiction for his short story "Daughter with a Star on Her Brow.”
