Biblical and Theological Studies
Class of 2014
Raised in Dyersburg, Tenn., Michelle Bostic decided to stay local for college and make Lee University her home, where she majors in Biblical and Theological Studies.
“I applied to Lee after hearing about it through one of my friends,” said Michelle. “When I came to the campus on Lee Day, I immediately knew Lee was where I was supposed to be.”
Michelle has been a member of Campus Choir for five semesters and is in her second semester with Greek social service club Omega Alpha Phi. Michelle is also a member of two honors societies, Phi Sigma Eta and Alpha Chi. Michelle cites her two out-of-country experiences while at Lee with helping expand her worldview. The summer after her freshman year Michelle went to Ecuador with Campus Choir, where she sang and helped lead multiple medical clinics. Later in her time at Lee, Michelle went to Israel, where she was able to see Biblical sites firsthand and learn more about Israel’s past.
Upon graduation, Michelle plans on attending graduate school in pursuit of a master’s degree, in hopes of one day being involved in ministry.
