Olivia Looney was named Lee University’s Miss Parade of Favorites 2013 on Saturday, Nov. 10. She represented Omega Alpha Phi and was escorted by J.J. Williamson. Her social platform is the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Looney was also the recipient of the interview award and the talent award. For her talent, she sang “Smile” by Charlie Chaplin.

First runner up was awarded to Elisabeth Grimes, the representative for Delta Zeta Tau. Her escort was Daniel Koukol.

Second runner up was Hannah Lethbridge, escorted by Ben Kirk. She was the representative for Epsilon Lambda Phi.

Katie McConnell, escorted by Devon Harden, was the third runner up. She represented Zeta Chi Lambda.

Deborah Adebayo, the representative for the Student Leadership Council, won the Kay McDaniel Woman of Achievement Award. This award is given to the contestant headed on the path of success despite life’s difficulties.

The service award went to Christina Lee, who represented Epsilon Lambda Phi. Her escort was James Turner.

Jonathan Berry, the escort of Sigma Nu Sigma representative Morgan Parks, was presented the escort award.

Megan Jafari, the contestant for Theta Delta Kappa, was named Miss Congeniality for the event.

This year’s theme was focused on trending topics based on social media.

Alyssa Oliver served as the event director and Ashley Lee was the assistant director. The dance performances were choreographed by James Vassal.
