Family Life
One-fourth of the student population at Lee University is non-traditional, meaning they are above 25, married and/or parents. Students at Lee who are going to school and raising a family are offered events beneficial to themselves, their spouses and their children. To make reservations for child care during U-Church, please contact the
Early Learning Center at least two weeks in advance at cwyatt@leeuniversity.edu or 423.614.8409.
Childcare
Childcare is often provided for events listed as "Open to Public" on the events calendar at Lee University. More information can be found through www.leechildcare.com and reservations should be confirmed.

- By reservation only during a U-Church, once a month, starting at 5:30pm
Events
- Date Night
- Free childcare once a month so couples can have a date night. Childcare goes from 7:15 pm to 9 pm on the dates of U-Church. If students want childcare at 5:30pm RSVP at least two weeks in advance and please provide dinner for children before 5:30 pm.
- FLC Shopping Day
- Each fall, student parents and couples enjoy a day at outlet malls around the area (i.e. Calhoun, GA or Pigeon Forge, TN). Childcare is provided at the Lee University Campus Nursery for the entire day.
- FLC Family Christmas Party
- Great food, gifts, door prizes and Mr. and Mrs. Santa are a great way to kickoff the holiday season with the family.
Family Enrichment
Food Bank
Located at the back entrance of the Leonard Center, the food bank is for students not on a meal plan. Students are asked to bring a Student ID. Contact the Leonard Center for more information at (423) 614-8614.
Open Monday- Friday from 2:00-3:30pm.
The Caring Place is off campus at 130 Wildwood Ave S.E. and offers services to the community. Contact the Caring Place at (413) 472-4414.
