Lee University senior Lauren Browning’s passion for psychology has played a large role in her college experience. Since coming to Lee, her passion has grown through her major and being involved in psychology research with faculty in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Department.
“My involvement in the psychology department has really helped me understand my calling in life and to grow and develop the career I want to pursue,” said Lauren. “The most important aspect of my success has been the supportive faculty dedicated to helping students grow academically, spiritually and as people.”
Along with her interest in psychology, Lauren is passionate about basketball. She played in high school and is now a member of the Lee Women’s Basketball team.
Lauren has received SSAC Scholar Athlete two times, NAIA Academic All American, SSAC Champion of Character Award and has been a member of Lee’s Honor Roll.
Following her graduation in May 2014, Lauren plans to attend grad school for experimental and social psychology.
