The scene shop is located adjacent to the Lee University campus in the American Uniform Building on Parker Street. This fully equipped shop is where all sets, prop, special effects, and general construction for the theatre program are created and maintained. The stagecraft class works in the scene shop each semester to help build and paint sets, and after a show closes the set is dismantled and returned to the storage facilities within the shop for reuse in future productions. The Scene Shop is currently staffed with five student workers and supervised by Technical Director Catherine Bradley.
The Costume Shop is located in 111 Mayfield Annex on the Lee campus. Our Costume Shop organizes, maintains, rents, alters and builds costumes for all of our regular season offerings. We have a stock of costumes from previous shows as well as the necessary machinery to create and build costumes. The Costume Shop is currently staffed with three student workers and supervised by Dr. Christine Williams.
