Lee University will host its annual Lee Day this Friday and Saturday, April 10-11.
The 30-hour spread will provide information and excitement geared toward
prospective students and their families.

“This is the best time
ever to visit Lee, when the entire campus is on display!” said Danny Murray, Lee
Day chairman.

The packed weekend will begin at noon on Friday with
Lee Day registration, campus tours, and the opportunity to sit in on one of the
many featured classes. Academic Displays will also be exhibited, allowing guests
to meet faculty and students in the department of their interest.

Early Class Selection will begin at 12:30 p.m. where incoming freshman will
have the chance to choose their classes for fall of 2015.

Residence
hall tours will begin at 1 p.m., followed by “Music in the Air,” starting at 3
p.m. This program will allow attendees to hear the mny Lee ensembles perform.
After that, at “Major Discovery,” faculty and students will answer questions and
give information about the various fields of study options.

Friday
evening will provide many chances for guests to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere
at Lee, beginning with the Block Party at 5 p.m. This beloved event will feature
great food and fun with current students. “Lee U Spotlight” will follow,
highlighting Lee music, award-winning videos, along with faculty and alumni
stories. Lee Theatre and Lee’s School of Music will present a musical version of
“The Secret Garden,” by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon, also taking place that
evening.

Saturday will be focused around campus life, beginning with
an opportunity for prospective athletes to “Meet the Coaches.” Next, guests are
encouraged to visit student club and organization displays for another glimpse
of student life.

At 10 a.m., Lee President Paul Conn and the
financial aid staff will host “Parents Inside Track,” a Q & A session for
parents, at which lunch will be provided. High school seniors are invited at
noon to a luncheon that will give them an opportunity to register for
scholarship drawings.

New to the Lee Day program is an “Open Forum”
which will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday with students and Admission staff to
ensure all questions are answered.

“Life at Lee,” a highlight of Lee
Day, will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Conn Center, offering a lighthearted look at
campus life.

Following “Life at Lee,” everyone is invited to a
barbecue dinner in Alumni Park. The weekend’s activities conclude with a worship
rally, led by President Conn, the Voices of Lee, and the Lee Chapel Worship
Band, along with the drawing of eight scholarships for fall of 2015.
