The Cultural Diversity Committee (CDC) is a faculty-led group that seeks to raise awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion issues on- and off-campus and implements programs which highlight minority cultures at Lee University and beyond. Founded in 2006, the CDC is responsible for increasing the cultural diversity of the faculty and the student body at Lee. The CDC works closely with the Mosaic Council and the Office of Racial & Ethnic Relations. A few signature events on campus include MLK Celebration Week, Culture Fest, Mosaic Conference, Imago Dei, International Women’s Week (IWW), Homecoming Weekend, and Lee Day.
