Crisis services are available to all enrolled Lee University students regardless of their status at the Counseling Center. We define crisis as experiencing thoughts of harming self or others with immediate concern of acting on these thoughts. If you feel you are in crisis based upon the above definition at any point in time, please consider coming to LUCC to meet with one of our staff members. A crisis appointment will focus on immediate stabilization and will not serve as the start of ongoing services. Please contact LUCC by phone or come to our building during our open office hours (Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM, closed daily 12-1 for lunch) if you are experiencing a crisis. If you are experiencing a crisis outside of LUCC open hours, contact your nearest emergency room, 911, or Crisis Response Team at (423) 634-8995.
