The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Lee University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Computer Science to begin in August of 2025.
The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching a range of courses from introductory to advanced levels in Computer Science. The successful candidate will actively contribute to curriculum development to support the growth of our program. Additional duties include overseeing undergraduate research projects, engaging in scholarly work, advising students, participating in university and community service, and collaborating with department faculty to build on existing strengths.
Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline to be considered. Preference will be given to those with a Ph.D. in Computer Science. An ability and willingness to teach courses in related areas, such as engineering or mathematics, is also highly desirable.
Other required qualifications include Christian commitment, demonstrated college teaching ability, and an ability to integrate elements of the Christian faith into course materials. Professional experience is beneficial but not required. Individuals from underrepresented populations are strongly encouraged to apply.
