Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Festivities Nov. 17
Lee University will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m.
Featuring live music, cookie decorating, and other festivities, this event will take place in front of Lee’s Science and Math Complex, located on the corner of Ocoee Street and Billy Graham Avenue.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Christmas season with our annual Christmas tree lighting event,” said Alex Staup, director of Student Engagement at Lee. “This is a special time where our students, staff, faculty, and community members can connect and celebrate over hot chocolate, cider, cookies, and Christmas carols.”
This year’s festivities will welcome the Arnold Elementary Children’s Choir, directed by Seima Swartzel, and a special guest from the North Pole.
“We could not pull this event off without the help and support of so many people across campus, and we look forward to sharing this time with all of our families and guests.”
This event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to park at any of the surrounding lots.
