Annual Christmas Tree Lighting to Take Place Nov. 14
Lee University’s annual Christmas tree lighting will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m., featuring live music, cookie decorating, and other festivities. The event will take place in front of Lee’s Science and Math Complex, located at the corner of Ocoee Street and Billy Graham Avenue.
“We look forward to this annual event where we get to welcome the Christmas season with our community,” said Dr. Tony Lombard, director of the Office of Student Connections & Engagement. “The Christmas tree lighting is a beloved tradition for many, and we are excited to once again offer this time of fellowship and connection for both our Lee family and the wider Cleveland community!”
Lee will once again welcome the Arnold Elementary Children’s Choir, directed by Seima Swartzel, along with a special guest or two from the North Pole to help light the Christmas tree.
There will also be a drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes on site.
This event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to park in any of the surrounding lots.
