Collaborative Piano Showcase to Take Place Thursday

Lee University’s Collaborative Piano Ensemble will present a piano showcase, Instrumentalabend (Instrumental Evening), on Thursday, April 11, at 4 p.m. in the Squires Recital Hall.
The program will feature diverse compositions by Kreisler, Pilss, Schumann, and Sulek.
The showcase performers include piano students Aidan Hedrick, Soyoung Lim, and Emma Motok, featuring Jesse Crabtree (trombone), Danae Powers (oboe), and Blake Vayda (trumpet). Dr. Josh Holritz, Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra associate concertmaster, will also perform on violin.
The Collaborative Piano Ensemble is a newly founded School of Music ensemble, which aims to encourage young pianists to explore the recently expanded field of collaborative piano arts.
The Squires Recital Hall is located in the Humanities Center on Parker Street.
The event is free and open to the public.
