Eledge, Wood, and Minutolo Receive Promotion

The Lee University Board of Directors recently awarded promotion to Dr. Jean Eledge, promoted to vice president for Academic Affairs; Dr. Randy Wood, promoted to dean of the College of Arts & Sciences; and Dr. Jennifer Minutolo, promoted to associate dean of the School of Business.

Eledge, distinguished professor of French, has been at Lee since 1990. She has served the institution in various roles that include full-time faculty, chairperson of the Department of Language and Literature for 21 years, and assistant vice president for Academic Affairs since 2018.

Eledge earned a Doctor of Education in Foreign Language Curriculum/Instruction and a Master of Arts in French from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Arts in French from Carson-Newman University. She is also a recipient of the Lee University Excellence in Teaching Award, the highest honor a faculty member at Lee can receive.

Dr. Randy Wood

Wood, professor of humanities, came to Lee in 1998. He served as chair of the Department of History, Political Sciences, and Humanities from 2008 to 2022 before becoming interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in January of this year. In addition to his duties as dean and in the classroom, Wood assists in travel-study programs including the New England studies program and the European Humanities for Health Professionals trip to England.

He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Penn State, a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Dr. Jennifer Minutolo

Minutolo has taught courses in mathematics and computer science at Lee since 2018. In addition to serving as the associate dean of the School of Business, she teaches business analytics and computer information systems courses. She also serves as the NCAT Scholar for the Title III grant at Lee and has presented at numerous conferences across the country.

She earned her PhD from Northcentral University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and a Bachelor of Science from Lee University.
