News

The Lee University English Language Center will offer a free ESL (English as a Second Language) camp for rising 1st – 6th grade students, July 8-12 from 9 a.m.–2:45 p.m., in the Walker Memorial Building on Lee’s campus.

The camp will focus on the development of writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills through interactive crafts and activities. All non-native English speaking children are welcome to attend. Lunch and snacks will be served daily.

“The summer ESL camp is always a wonderful experience for both the students and the teachers,” said Dr. Christopher Blake, associate professor of TESOL and linguistics at Lee. “We are so excited to welcome the children to this year’s camp which is going to be better than ever.”

Enrollment will be limited to the first 30 children who sign up, so early registration is encouraged.

For more information or to register, contact Blake at (423) 614-8223 or [email protected].
