Guests attend opening of Senior Art Show on April 4.

Lee University’s First Senior Art Show opened with a reception on April 4, featuring the works of Lee senior art students. The Art Exhibition will run through Tuesday, April 9, in the Squires Art Gallery, located in Squires Library on Lee’s campus.

According to Victoria Phillips, visiting assistant professor of art at Lee, the seniors are required to not only create a cohesive collection of work for their show, but they are also required to prepare and install their work with the assistance of the Gallery Management class.

“We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our students and are thrilled to showcase their art!” said Phillips.

The students whose work is currently on display in the Squires Gallery include Hannah Bolton, Riley Evans, Cat Kendrick, Morgan Kiehl, Trinity MacPhee, Allie Rock, and Bri Wescott.

The Student Invitational Art Show is free and open to the public during regular operating hours of the library, which can be found by visiting libguides.com/homepage.  Squires Library is located on the corner of 11th Street and Paul Conn Parkway.

The Second Senior Art Show will open on Thursday, April 18.
