Trip Lee to Speak in Chapel

Lee University will welcome back Trip Lee, Christian rapper and pastor, in chapel on Tuesday, March 28 at 10:40 a.m. After delivering a powerful message in 2016, Lee will return to the Conn Center for this special morning service.

Born William Lee Barefield III, Lee began his career in the music industry early on. He has released five albums and authored two books. Lee is a recipient of the Stellar Award and has been nominated for several Dove awards. Three of his albums have debuted at #1 on Billboard Gospel charts, with his most recent album, “The Waiting Room,” reaching the #16 spot on the Billboard 200. He has performed at Ignition Student Conference, Change Conference, along with touring on the Winter Jam tour, among others.

Lee aims to declare the goodness and glory of Jesus Christ through his writing, teaching, and performing. He has also started Built To Brag, an organization that seeks to engage a young, multicultural audience with biblical truths in powerful ways.

Lee currently serves as a pastor at Cornerstone Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where he resides with his wife Jessica and their two children.

The event is free, non-ticketed, and open to the public.
