Lee University will conclude its spring 2017 U-Church series on Friday, April 7 at 8 p.m. with a special evening concert featuring Bethel Music’s Josh Baldwin and Paul and Hannah McClure.

Bethel Music Collective is based out of Bethel Church in Redding, California. “The 18 member worship team partners together to give their talents and hearts to God while working to see the global expansion of God’s Kingdom by His manifest presence through music,” according to the church’s website.

Bethel Music has produced over 25 albums. They have won four Dove awards and have been nominated for over 10 Dove awards. The music collective regularly tours and worships at conferences such as the Heaven Come Conference, Women of Influence, Arise Shine Conference, and Big Church Day Out, among others.

Baldwin, a Lee alum, has served as a songwriter and worship leader since joining Bethel in 2014. He regularly leads worship at Bethel Church and tours domestically and internationally.

His song “Praises” was featured on Bethel’s recent album “Have it All.” Baldwin has an upcoming solo album that will be released in May 2017.

The McClures are worship leaders and songwriters at Bethel Church. Leading worship since they were teenagers, they moved from their hometown of High Pointe, North Carolina, to join Bethel Music in 2011.

The McClures’ songs “Jesus We Love You,” “My One Thing,” and “Faithful to the End” have been featured on various Bethel albums. Paul serves as the worship pastor for the Bethel Church worship department and Hannah also works as a freelance photographer and videographer.

The final U-Church event is part of Lee Day, a weekend preview event for prospective students and parents that showcases life at Lee, academics, athletics, and more.

The concert will take place on Lee’s soccer field, which will open to guests at 6:45 p.m. Prior to the concert, Lee will host a family-friendly block party on the field. All are welcome to attend.

U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event open to students, alumni, and the community.
