York, Roberts Receive Promotion to VP
Lee University president Dr. Paul Conn has announced that the Lee University Board of Directors has promoted Josh York to vice president for Operations and Dr. Lorinda Roberts to vice president for Student Success.
In his new role as vice president, York provides leadership for Event Production, Event Planning, Campus Security, Facilities Management, and Campus Ministries.
Prior to this most recent promotion, York was serving as executive director of the Office of Events and Campus Management. Before that, he served 19 years in various capacities on campus, including Campus Security, House Manager for Conn and Dixon centers, director of Facilities Management, and director of the Office of Events.
York graduated from Lee in 2003 with his bachelor’s degree in church music with a percussion emphasis. He resides in Cleveland with his wife Stacey, who serves with Lee’s campus ministries, and their two sons, Samuel and Eli, both of whom are enrolled at Lee.
Under Roberts’ new appointment as vice president for Student Success, she will oversee Lee’s Student Success Center (The Hub), the LEAP (Learn Engage Achieve Program) Office, Center for Calling and Career, the Counseling Center, First Year Programs, and CTS (Commuter & Transfer Services).
Roberts joined Lee’s School of Theology & Ministry in 2019 as an assistant professor of youth and family ministry and began serving as director of Lee’s First Year Programs in fall 2022.
Prior to coming to Lee, Roberts held positions such as adjunct faculty at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and girls discipleship coordinator at several Church of God churches. She has also been a co-pastor, co-youth pastor, co-children’s pastor, and children’s evangelist.
Roberts received her Doctor of Educational Ministry in family ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, her Master of Arts in discipleship and spiritual formation from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and her Bachelor of Science in Christian education from Lee.
She resides in Cleveland with her husband Landon, also a Lee alum, and her son Kaden. Her oldest son Dylan and his wife Gabriela live in Maryland.
